dWatt
dWatt represents 1 Watt of power generated in the game. It's a virtual unit used to track your power generation capabilities and achievements. This measurement helps you understand your energy production efficiency and progress in the game.
In order to perform any process, you must have enough dWatt to power the process. To generate dWatt, see the Electricity page.
Generating dWatt using an outlet assumes the use of fossil fuels. The in-game smart plug handles this accounting by tracking your draw over time, minting dWatt, and accruing the matching dCarbon. You can later retire those emissions by converting dCarbon into dOffset.
Renewable sources like solar panels and wind turbines generate dWatt without adding dCarbon, so pairing them with batteries is the cleanest way to keep your power reserves topped up.
